Today was our last time attending the Tridentine Mass here in Naples, Florida. We have been attending this Mass for very nearly nine months now – in fact, almost exactly one week less than nine months, which equals the time that a baby spends in his mother’s womb before emerging to face the world. It makes me wonder if this time was intended to be some special time of growth for us. Perhaps in the future we will be able to look back and see more clearly what was happening during these past nine months. At the moment I can’t really say, but I have very much appreciated this opportunity. It has certainly been a very good thing.
