Due to the current family illness, yesterday, on Regina’s nameday, Regina was not able to have any of the dessert (cherry crisp); tonight, on B. Rose’s nameday, Rose was not able to have any of the dessert (same thing, since we didn’t finish it yesterday). Hope we make it through this soon!

I made more bread yesterday, four loaves this time. I followed basically the same routine as last time, only I didn’t warm up the water at all this time, and just mixed the yeast in with the flour instead of getting it started in warm water. This worked out pretty well, and slowed things down [...]
