We had the boys tested for a whole bunch of allergies yesterday, and the results were resoundingly negative. I guess that’s a good thing, right? Actually, David even had such a small reaction to the histamine sample that the allergist thought we must have given him antihistamines recently, which we haven’t. So if he can’t [...]

I suppose the fact that she went to hide in our bedroom with the door shut means that she had some idea that she wasn’t supposed to be doing that.
And I suppose the fact that the first thing we did when we found her was to take a picture means that she’s just too cute.

…that the kids would find a dental appointment so exciting. B. and D. had their first-ever dentist visit the other day, and before they went I talked to them about what would happen, hoping to keep it from being too traumatic. B. and D. started swimming lessons today. The lessons will be an hour a day, five days a week, for two weeks. It’s hard for me to believe that B. and D. could actually be swimming in that short of a time, but we’ll see. They both learned to ride their bikes in a really [...]

Due to the current family illness, yesterday, on Regina’s nameday, Regina was not able to have any of the dessert (cherry crisp); tonight, on B. Rose’s nameday, Rose was not able to have any of the dessert (same thing, since we didn’t finish it yesterday). Hope we make it through this soon!
